Kurt Otto, of KO-Group (Design/Build), based in Westwood, NJ, has over 25 years of experience in architectural design & construction. He received his Bachelors of Architecture degree from Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, New York. After graduating Pratt, Kurt joined a premiere New Jersey architecture firm where he became the lead designer in residential architecture, project management and business development.

Today, Kurt is successfully running KO-Group and has created a substantial portfolio of beautiful homes which continue to build his insatiable passion for his timeless designs.

“Less is more” is my approach to design for most of my projects, and this approach translates to various aspects of design. In our profession, the old saying “the customer is always right” isn’t necessarily always the case. We try and educate our clients every step of the way and guide them into making a responsible decision that will end up in a functional, well-designed end result.

The master bathroom within the master suite is the couple’s oasis. Once the doors of the master suite closes, it becomes a couple’s retreat from a long day. This is especially the case with a master bathroom which we view as a spa, a place to take a bath, steam, or hot shower, then jump into bed and catch up on some of your favorite shows. This particular master bath in Old Tappan, NJ demonstrates this while using cost effective materials that are timeless such as glassos (white glass), thassos, and statuary.
