A New York City entertainment figure revamped his sloped backyard to incorporate a unique bi-level swimming pool. Mediterranean Tile was hired to design the extensive tile work needed to showcase the clean and contemporary lines of the pool, which coincide with the classic modern style of home.
The pillars are finished with 12 x 24” porcelain tiles and are embellished with narrow strips of the same glass mosaic tiles that are on the steps and pool deck.
The concrete gray 12 x 12” porcelain tile are used to cover the pool deck and embedded are the colorful glass mosaic tiles that surround pool water line and steps.
Mediterranean Tile owner Frank Matarazzo chose sustainable porcelain and glass mosaic tiles in tones of gray and steel blue to flow the colors of the rest of the home.
The 1 x 1” glass tile are in shades of gray and steal blue and make up the steps and surrounding water line of the pool.
The backyard of this Northern New Jersey home was reengineered to incorporate a modern bi-level pool to compensate for a yard with a large drop-off. Mediterranean Tile worked together with Caribbean Blue Pool and Spa in order to create this contemporary masterpiece.
Two sizes of the same Porcelain tile have been intertwined with 1 x 1” glass mosaic tile to add a design element that ties the decking and pillars together and gives this massive area a luxurious yet intimate family room feel.
