About the Project
These soothing environments, designed for the ultimate bathing experience, were featured in the renovation of two master bathroom projects utilizing a similar color palette. The first bathroom was designed for a traditional home, creating drama while still emanating a feeling of intimacy.
The painted bench-made cabinets with Calcutta stone countertops, add a welcoming feel and a heated floor system enhances the comfort of the pentagon shaped Calcutta flooring. Tile detail was kept understated with an inset mosaic stone rug and decorative border that reappears in the upper shower wall.
The second master bathroom unifies the classic styling of the house with the more transitional taste of the homeowners. Varying shades of white were used to provide a neutral setting while the herringbone floor pattern in honed Carrera marble combined with the white ceramic tiles on the walls add a soft white backdrop for the space.
