Mediterranean Tile, a leading provider of the finest and most exclusive selection of tile and natural stone in the tri-state area, is celebrating its 30th anniversary.
Owners and siblings, Frank Matarazzo and Maria Cappello, opened the doors to Mediterranean Tile’s Fairfield, New Jersey showroom in 1993. Since then, the company has grown from having two employees to employing a 17-member staff. Mediterranean Tile expanded in 2007 by opening a second location in Bernardsville, New Jersey, in order to better serve the needs of its growing client base.
“As we celebrate our 30th anniversary this year, Maria and I are full of gratitude for all of our wonderful clients and the many distributors, artisans, and vendors we get to work with every day,” says co-owner Frank Matarazzo. “Over the years we have built and honed exclusive relationships that have allowed us to offer customers products that cannot be found anywhere else.”
Mediterranean Tile is an active member of the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID) and the National Kitchen and Bath Association (NKBA). Frank and Maria’s combined experience, along with the expertise of their staff and a storewide passion for design, has contributed to Mediterranean Tile’s excellent reputation among homeowners, architects, designers, contractors, and other members of the design community.
